Velvet gives us a shiny, high-end and elegant feeling. But because of this special materials, it is easy to make you look more fat than what you actually are. Proper dressing with velvet should give you a glamorous and luxe but nothing else. So how to avoid a bad velvet fitting? The answer is to avoid a piece of velvet piece which cover your fat part of the body. (Velvet will enlarge your body shape!!!)

If you have a full bust, I will avoid velvet tops. Instead, picking velvet pants and skirt.
If you have a larger waistline, I will avoid velvet dress or slim fit tops. Choosing velvet jacket or hoodie will be better.
If you have big thighs, I will avoid velvet pants. In place of, selecting velvet pleated skirt, velvet tops or jackets.

Velvet Jacket is a great piece to hide your waist and does not like down jacket which makes you look like a chubby. It provides you a luxuriously soft touch for your outfit. I suggested picking a short velvet jacket and pair with skinny pants that give you the full height looking.

Velvet dress is a hard to carry piece because It covers 2/3 of your body shape, so a belt is needed to avoid a bucket waist. Black tight or legging for your bottom to keep you warm in the cold weather.
